Dandadan Episode 2: A Brief Recap

Following the battle with aliens, Momo and Okarun head to the former’s home to relax. However,Okarun was possessed by Turbo Granny’s curse, so he couldn’t go past the boundary of the house as it was protected by a talisman. Momo helped her new friend by removing the protection charm.

While Momo changed her clothes, Okarun kept saying that she could leave him lonely again after overcoming this situation. Momo says that she isn’t going anywhere as she’d decided to be friends with him forever.

As they talked, the doorbell rang; Okarun thought it would be Momo’s grandmother, but the girl revealed that it’s an evil spirit. She then continues saying that she forgot to put the talisman after helping Okarun enter the house, so the spirit got an opportunity to cross their home’s boundary.

Momo decides to step out from the front door and put the talisman back on. However, before she can do so, Okarun and Momo get trapped by the unwanted guest.

Later, Okarun discovered that it wasn’t a ghost but a Flatwood monster. After running for a while, Okarun decided to fight the enemy and that’s when we get to see his transformation. Momo and Okarun exerted themselves to fight the alien, and they outsmarted it eventually. Episode 3 of the Dandadan anime will finally introduce Momo’s grandmother.
