Microsoft has released a new Edge Dev Channel update, 130.0.2849.1, now available for Insiders to test. This update includes a host of new features and changes, as well as the usual bug fixes and performance improvements.

The most notable addition is a new feature that enables Insiders to mark specific sites for reindexing in the Edge browser, allowing users to trigger site indexing manually.

This should help ensure that sites remain up-to-date in the browser’s Index Now feature. Index Now also sees some changes to make it easier to understand when websites are being indexed.

Another addition is the ability to manage cookies and site permissions in the URL bar, thanks to a new button in the address bar. Users can set permissions such as access to the microphone and location per site, and the button will light up when interacting with a site with blocked content.

In addition to new features, this build includes minor changes and fixes. The full list is available in the changelog, but here are a few highlights:

The Edge Dev 130.0.2849.1 should now be available for download by those in the Dev Channel. If you’re not seeing it, give it some time to roll out to your device.
