Fortnite is about to get a major style upgrade with the introduction of Kicks – a brand-new cosmetic feature that lets you customize your favorite characters with cool sneakers. Want to know what they are and how to get them? Keep reading as we break these amazing shoes down for you.
What Are Kicks in Fortnite?
Kicks in Fortnite are basically custom shoes that you can add to your Fortnite outfits. Think of them as another way to make your character stand out in the game, just like you would with skins or emotes. Epic Games is partnering with real-world brands likeNike and Jordan, along with creating their own original Fortnite shoe designs.
The official launch date for Kicks isNovember 12, 2024. This isn’t just a temporary feature – Kicks are here to stay as a permanent cosmetic to Fortnite’s customization options.
How to Get Kicks in Fortnite
As just mentioned, the first thing you’ll have to do is wait till November 12 as that’s when these amazing Jordan Shoes launch. Once the date arrives, there are two main ways to get Kicks:
1.Through the Remix Pass (Battle Pass)
If you’re looking to get the Air Jordan featuring black, white, and red colors, you’ll need to own theFortnite Chapter 2 Remix Battle Pass, which costs950 V-Bucks. Once you have the pass, complete both Week Zero and Week One Quests to unlock these shoes. You can find them on theDynamo TNTina quest pages. 2.From the Item Shop
If you prefer more variety or don’t want to get the Battle Pass, you can wait for the Item Shop releases. The first Fortnite original design will be theShark Slippers, available right from launch day. When Kicks first launches, you’ll be able to use themwith over 500 of the most popular Fortnite outfits. Epic Games is working to expand this compatibility, with plans to make Kicks work with roughly 95% of all outfits by Spring 2025. We can expect to see more brand collaborations, unique designs, and possibly even special event-themed shoes in the future
