For Mixer, the introduction of Mixer Pro not too long ago gives users the ability to gain some new useful, key features that they can use while watching some of their favorite streamers.
Mixer Pro was introduced sometime in 2018, and has been a mainstay for the streaming platform ever since. Acting much like Twitch Prime, Mixer Pro allows users to pay a monthly fee in order to gain access to some benefits that make for a better viewing experience. Unfortunately, Mixer Pro does not come with the ability to add a free subscription to your favorite streamer, so users who are interested in both will have to pay for a separate subscription to a streamer, which costs $5.99/month.
Whether or not Mixer Pro is worth it is entirely up to you and how much you watch streams on the platform. If you are a longtime user and loyal viewer of Mixer streams, then it might be worth it thanks to the ad-free experience and extra chat features. However, if you only watch a handful of streams and don’t find yourself interacting much in the chat, it might be worth it to simply continue enjoying Mixer as it is and put your money elsewhere.
