Lenovo will expand its Legion Go series with two new models, which arereportedlyin the works. The company is set to produce a Lite version and a second-generation version.

While nothing official has come out, Videocardz has obtained a product roadmap from Lenovo that shows a release date for the Legion Go Lite in 2025 and the Legion Go Gen Two in 2026. The roadmap also states that the Legion Go series will include a “mini” device in 2027 and a larger device in 2028.

The original Legion Go,which we were the first to report, costs $699, and the Gen Two and Lite are expected to be priced similarly.

The current Legion Go has an 8.8-inch display, but the Legion Go Lite will purportedly have a 7-inch screen, making it smaller, lighter, and thus more portable.

However, it won’t support a detachable controller, which could make it less versatile for gaming on the go.

The Legion Go Gen Two will offer better specs, but there are no specifics on those improvements. Lenovo’s current Legion Go uses an AMD Ryzen Z1 chip, but newer chips are available. Videocardz speculates that the Legion Go Gen Two could be powered by an unannounced chip, the AMD Ryzen Z2, or Intel’s upcoming Lunar Lake processor.

Would you consider a handheld gaming device from Lenovo? What do you want to see from the Legion Go line?
