What you need to know
Lenovo has a boatload of new Legion gaming PCs to check out today, but it hasn’t forgotten the rest of your PC setup. The company also announced the new Legion Y25-25L, a 25-inch gaming monitor that includes plenty of extras that should make you games look crisp and fluid.
The panel comes in at 24.5 inches with a 1080p FHD resolution, so you’ll want to look elsewhere if you want a QHD or 4K display. However, it backs that up with support forbothAMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync. So, no matter whether you’re playing with Team Red or Team Green, you’ll be able to make sure that frames are flowing to the display just right to prevent screen tearing.
Aside from its FreeSync and G-Sync chops, the Y25-25L brings an IPS panel that hits 240Hz, which should leave you plenty of breathing room if you have a pretty powerful desktop or laptop hooked up to it. It also supports HDR, and it can hit a peak brightness of a respectable 400 nits.
If you’re on the lookout for a new monitor and the Legion Y25-25L strikes your fancy, look for it to start hitting stores in June for $320.
