Microsoft Edge has been updated to version 130.0.2849.46, and along with the update, the browser received dozens of new capabilities, enhancements, and fixes.
In an exciting announcement, Microsoft says Live Captions will finally be gradually released to Edge users. The capability has been available on the browser for a while, but it wasn’t generally available, However, those who have the ExperimentationAndConfigurationServiceControl policy set to ‘FullMode’ might receive this new feature.

With this version, the Redmond-based tech giant continues to deprecate the Token Binding, and using the AllowTokenBindingForUrls policy will no longer do anything. Microsoft will also change some Copilot policies, while other Copilot policies, such as CopilotCDPPageContext, are already becoming obsolete.
Edge has started to support non-special scheme URLs. These are special written URLs, such as git://example.com/path, which weren’t supported on Edge until version 130.0.2849.46.
