The popular Microsoft Rewards is part of the Xbox App on Mobile, and users frequently visit it for their daily quests and tasks. However, the section has recently gone missing, prompting many peopleto wonder if the Redmond-based tech giant has removed it from the app.

The Microsoft Rewards panel went missing on the Xbox app, both the console app and the mobile app. After many hours of being down, however, it came back. Apparently, this hasn’t been the first time the app has suffered such an error, leaving many users unable to complete their tasks.

Some users reported that they didn’t receive any points when they completed the tasks when the app was missing.

Yeah, lots of people have been posting about it being down. I played Jewel earlier, but it still did not give me the points despite clearing two screens. Then, it was all just gone from the app.

Apparently, the section disappears occasionally, which is Xbox’s fault; many users are already accustomed to it, and the best thing to do is avoid completing any tasks when Microsoft Rewards disappears on the Xbox App.

According to users, once it goes missing, it will disappear from all platforms, including Xbox, PC, and mobile.

There have been discussions aboutwhether Microsoft Rewards is going away, but it’s less likely that the Redmond-based tech giant will ever abandon the program, as it’s one of the most popular right now.

With it, users can earn points, which they can use to purchase gift cards or renew Game Pass subscriptions. Even though completing daily taskswill earn users fewer points in 2024 than in 2023, the program is still going strong.
