Microsoftpublished a feature roadmapfor the new Microsoft Edge. The roadmap includes features that are currently planned, in discussion, under review, and not planned. It gives an insight into the new Microsoft Edge’s development because you can see where Microsoft is trying to take the browser.

The roadmap includes plans for some fan-favorite features, including the ability to sync browsing history and installed extensions between devices. Extension syncing alreadyshowed up on Microsoft Edge Canary.
