Microsoft is making it easier to access files shared in Teams meetings by using the Loop platform. The company is creating a new feature to automatically create a Loop workspace for all the content shared during a meeting series.

Loop is a service for organizing files, notes, and tasks into collaborative workspaces. It’s currently integrated into Teams, Outlook, and Yammer.

With the new feature, recurring meeting organizers will be prompted in the Microsoft Teams chat to create a Loop workspace after a meeting ends. The workspace will contain all the files shared during meetings in the series, allowing participants to continue collaborating.

In a blog post, Microsoft says the organizer can review, approve, or remove the files before they’re added to the workspace, and Loop workspace members can add additional content and rearrange the order of files in the app.

The workspace includes all the files shared during the meeting series but excludes the text chat and web links.

Microsoft says the feature has begun rolling out and should be available to all Windows, Mac, and web users. The company plans to add support for longer meeting series, modern groups, and additional roles.

In other news,Copilot Agents are finally coming to Teams chats. You’ll have AI models in your chats providing important information and files to you.
