Say goodbye to waiting for Microsoft Teams to update when opening it. This capability will soon disappear. According to a recent entry to the Microsoft 365 Roadmap, updates for the platform will only happen when devices are in idle mode.
In November 2024, updates from the Teams admin centre for Teams devices will happen when devices are idle to minimise end-user disruption. Finally, or what a shame, you can say goodbye to those little breaks when you would wait for Teams to update.
