What you need to know

A few weeks ago, “Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 and 2.5 ReMix” and “Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue” were spotted on the Microsoft Store for Xbox One. The games subsequently launched on the console last week, but many gamers were curious as to how they perform on Microsoft’s machine, particularily theXbox One X.

We were able to test them out recently and can confirm that they appear to be 4K resolution or very close. What’s even better is that they run at 60 frames per second (FPS) on Xbox One X. Many gamers thought that the titles, since they’re third-person action games, would be 30 FPS, but that isn’t the case.

Since I don’t have a standard Xbox One anymore, I can’t confirm how they run on base hardware, but on Xbox One X, they’re an absolutely glorious experience. There are so many titles packed into the two collections that I can’t help but recommend them. If you own an Xbox One X, both Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 and 2.5 ReMix and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue are must-buys in my opinion.

They’re finally on Xbox One

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 and 2.5 ReMix is a compilation of six unforgettable Kingdom Hearts experiences that form the foundation of the series.

The beginning of the end

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue is a compilation of three magical Kingdom Hearts experiences that no fan should be without.

It’ll last you a couple of months

Xbox Game Pass gives you access to over 200 games for one monthly fee. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate also adds Xbox Live Gold to the package so you can play online with your friends.
