If you’ve been trying to access Reddit today, you might have encountered the No Healthy Upstream error, which prevents anyone from accessing the social media network. While strolling through it, we also encountered this error, and it seems the issue isaffecting users worldwide.
The error makes browsing anything on Reddit impossible, and it’s currently ongoing. Expired certificates, issues of scalability, or bugs with servers usually cause the No Healthy Upstream, which can usually be fixed by logging in and logging out, but it did not work in this case.
However, you can try different methodsto fix this issue independentlyin our guide, but please note that it might not be your fault, at all. Reddit’s servers might be the culprit, and in some cases, simply refreshing the page seems to do the trick, as this Reddit user points out. DownDetectoralso confirms this.
Same here, the server is apparently having some trouble and/or is overloaded. Refreshing the page after a while helps.
Have you experienced the No Healthy Upstream error on Reddit today? Let us know below. Meanwhile, try to implement the solutions from our guide, and wait.
Updating your Internet browsers might fix the issue, but not entirely. Reddit might open some posts, while the No Healthy Upstream error keeps showing up when trying to access other posts. It’s always good to update the browser, so make sure you do so.
Others also say that for now, one solution is to access thehttps://new.reddit.cominstead of the regularhttps://www.reddit.com.
Edit: Reddit appears to be fully functional now, and it can be accessed from any browser without any issues, but it wss unavailable for many for a couple of hours, this morning. In our cases, we tried accessing on Edge, Chrome, and Opera, and it worked on all of them, but some users might still be affected, as DownDetector still reports some complains.
Are you still facing this issue? Let us know.
