Now that E3 2020 has officially been canceled due to the coronavirus outbreak, many developers are looking for alternatives ways to present their titles. However, it seems like some may have postponed their plans because they don’t be able to hold their own press conferences.

According to a report byKotaku, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment (WB Games) was planning to host its own briefing, but it may do a digital event or something else entirely to reveal a number of highly-anticipated projects. Kotaku’s News Editor, Jason Schreier, wrote the following.

This year, a newcomer planned to enter the field. Warner Bros. Games was preparing to host an E3 press conference for the first time, according to three people familiar with the publisher’s plans. There, Warner Bros. Games had planned to talk about a number of much-anticipated games including a new Batman, a Harry Potter game that had leaked in 2018, and the next game from Arkham developers Rocksteady Studios. It remains to be seen whether Warner Bros. will instead hold its own digital event or do something else entirely.

Hopefully, Warner Bros. will reveal all of these projects close to E3. Having a digital event makes the most sense and would be considerably cheaper than putting on a massive show. However, it may not garner as many viewers because it seems like there will be a lot of digital shows in June.

We’ll keep you posted as soon as we know more. Warner Bros., if you’re reading this, just reveal the next Batman game already!

It’ll last you a couple of months
