Rust is a popular survival game that’s become quite the sensation on PC. A few months ago, Double Eleven announced that it was bringing the title to consoles, but it seems like development is much further along than anyone expected. Today, many users on Reddit and Twitter posted a link to theRust: Console Edition - Closed Betaon Xbox One.

The description says the following.

Closed Beta for Rust on Xbox One. The only aim in Rust is to survive — overcome struggles such as hunger, thirst, and cold. Build a fire. Build a shelter. Kill animals. Protect yourself from other players. Beta players are expected to experience bugs and glitches before the game’s full release.

It’s unclear if the Rust beta is running right now, or it’s going to happen sometime in the future. We’ll keep you posted as soon as we know more.
