Microsoft pushed out a fresh firmware update forSurface Laptop 3devices with AMD processors this week. The update is a pretty small one, but it packs some solid improvements nonetheless. Specifically, this update targets its improvements on battery life and system stability.

This update is now available via Windows Update for AMD-based Surface Laptop 3 devices. Microsoft notes that it’s only available across those running the Windows 10 May 2019 Update and later.

This follows a fairly substantial set of updates both the Intel and AMD versionsreceived in January, which brought performance improvements across the board.

With the addition of USB Type-C, Wi-Fi 6, and Intel 10th Gen processors, the Surface Laptop 3 13.5 delivers a solid follow up to the Surface Laptop 2.
