The Division 2: Warlords of New York gets an animated short providing backstory for the rogue agents you’ll be hunting down

What you need to know
The massive Warlords of New York expansion, whichwe previewed earlier this month, is set to drop on March 3 in The Division 2 and Ubisoft has released a short animated trailer giving us some backstory that leads up to the events of the DLC.
We knew Division agent Aaron Keener had gone rogue, and now we see how he manipulates four of his lieutenants into helping him secure lower Manhattan. His lieutenants include chemical engineer Vivian Conley, former drone engineer and hacker Theo Parnell, former Black Op Javier Kajika, and Rikers faction leader James Dragov, who also happens to be a master of heavy weapons.
To celebrate the expansion’s release soon, The Division 2 will be free to play from February 27 through March 2. It is also currentlyonly $3 right now on the Microsoft Store, so you really don’t have an excuse to pass it up unless you just aren’t interested.
Should you take part in the free weekend and decide to buy the entire game later, all of your progress will carry over. The free weekend will not contain any level caps or players restrictions.
The complete package
Not to be confused with the expansion itself, this edition of The Division 2 comes with the bass games along with the Warlords of New York DLC, bringing a ton of new content for players to tackle.

Already have the base game? You can pick up the expansion separately and hop into New York City to face down some imposing foes. All content drops on March 3, so get ready.
