The Outer Worlds is rife with wacky weapons that have some sort of gimmick to them, whether it be a Shrink Ray that quite literally shrinks your enemy or melee weapon that rearranges their face. Obsidian calls these Science weapons, and they’re easily some of the coolest — and rarest — in the game. We’ve compiled every unique gun and science weapon you can find in The Outer Worlds along with their locations so you know exactly where to look.

There are only a total of five science weapons in The Outer Worlds. All science weapons can be obtained naturally through the quest “Weapons From The Void.”

Unique weapons can be obtained through a variety of means. Some are earned through quests, others looted off of bodies, some can be found out in the wild, and vendors can sell them from time to time.
