The Trine series is an amazing set of platformers from the Xbox 360 generation. For some odd reason, the updated versions of the past games made their way to PlayStation 4, but didn’t land onXbox One. Luckily, that changed recently because alongside Trine 4, Trine: Ultimate Collection is available as a native game. You don’t need to play the blurry Xbox 360 version through backward compatibility anymore.

Recently, publisher Modus Games announced that Trine, Trine 2, and Trine 3 now support multiplayer just like Trine 4 on Xbox One. It’s quite easy to set up as there’s a dedicated menu. You should check it out if you like the games.

I would recommend playing Trine 4 because unlike the other titles, it’sXbox One X Enhancedand looks incredible on a 4K display. Plus, it runs really well and returns the series back to its roots.
