A deluge ofXbox Series Xinformation was released today by Xbox, from the specs to expansion SSD details and more. One interesting aspect was a visual demo showing exactly how Quick Resume works. Quick Resume is a new for Xbox Series X that has been mentioned before, allowing players to have a few gamest suspended in the SSD, ready to go immediately once they are selected.

You can see exactly how this feature works in the demo below, which shows someone swapping between games like Forza Motorsport 7, Ori and the Blind Forest Definitive Edition and Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice with ease.

While there’s still a small loading process of a few seconds as you swap between games, it’s far superior to having to wait minutes on end. This way, if there are games you repeatedly play more than others, you can access them in a far easier fashion.

The blog post onXbox Wirenoted that “One of the testers on the team unplugged his console for a week, then took an update, and was still able to continue right where he left off without so much as a loading screen.”

Xbox Series X is currently set to be available in Holiday 2020.
